In case you didn't know, Poppy and I (Chia) met on a dating app (you can read more about how we met here) and, just like your typical U-Haul lesbians, we made our relationship official after three dates and moved in together after a week. 😅
Since then, we've been together for seven years now 🤯 and we're indebted to technology for allowing us to meet each other — after all, Poppy isn't just my life partner, she's also my best friend, my therapist, my masseuse, my exercise coach, my foodie partner, and, well, my everything!
So, while we've been out of the dating pool for a while, we thought we'd try to pay it forward and create a resource compiling all of the best dating apps that are either exclusive to or friendly to LGBTQ+ folks and lesbians in particular.
To make it easy to navigate the list below, any apps that include a 🏳️🌈 indicate that it was specifically designed for the LGBTQ+ community and any apps that include a 💕 indicate that it was specifically designed for women.
